A little bit about me & my beliefs….
I’ve been curious about the boundaries of what the body can do from a very young age. I believe that taking care of our own health transcends into all other aspects of our lives. When you feel better, you’ll do better in the world. When you embark on your exercise journey, there’s no telling where it might take you. What is for certain though, is that no one else can do it for you. No one can run a race, PR a one-rep max, or perfect the ultimate handstand FOR YOU. It’s both daunting and exciting, I know.
I found running when I was 15, and have never stopped since. My relationship with running has changed drastically over the years. I first ran for my high school team, then did a short stint running for Slippery Rock College before transferring to Pitt, and now I run for myself. The thing with endurance sports is that you can always challenge yourself to go further or go faster, It’s a sport you essentially “can’t win” at. I am quite competitive in nature, so it can be rather humbling at times…
I plan to stay curious, and keep learning every day about the miraculous things our bodies can do with the hope that I can be a reliable source to you. Ask me your questions. Confide in me your goals. I’ll never say it’s not possible. Let’s make the “undoable” happen.
